In 1981 Bob met Bredt and a instant bound was formed. Bredt had been an in demand studio musician but missed the live crowds. After sitting in with Bobby a few times they found together they had something special. Bredt's sold harmonies thrilled crowds and his 12 string filled in nicely with Bob's playing. They were named Westwords best duo as they became Denvers most in demand acoustic act. With local support they put out "Time for a Change." The album was all orginals and it lead to opening for national touring acts, and the song Let Freedom Ring was doing well on independent radio.
In 2002, Bredt nearly died and ended up loosing his leg to a Flesh eating bacteria. Just two days after his release from the hospital Bredt was back on the stage to a huge welcome. You cant keep a good man down. All though Bredt lives in Denver and Bobby Grand Junction they still perform regularly together and are planning a new CD this spring.
